Cranborne Chase Astronomy Club

Our members are the heart of the club. From total novices to seasoned astronomers, we all share a passion for the night sky. We welcome all and enjoy learning from each other as well as sharing our experience.

Organised observation evenings, with access to telescopes and other equipment for viewing
In the event the weather prevents the organised observation evening, there is a series of talks/ workshops about Topics in Astronomy among others
Access to our Member's only WhatsApp group where we organise spontaneous observation evenings
Telescope workshops to find about your telescope and best ways to use it
Link in with other groups and clubs in the area, sharing facilities and knowledge
Being part of a friendly community of like-minded people, ranging in ages and skills

Subscriptions

£30 a year a single membership

£50 for a household of two
(children in full time education are free with an accompanying adult member)

Half a year (so two installments) £20 - one in January and one in June.

If you would like to come to one event, or perhaps a member to bring a guest to an event, it is £4.
